Four Decadesof Faithful Ministry

ICGC was officially inaugurated as a church on the 26th of February 1984 in Accra, Ghana. The first meeting was held in a small classroom with an initial membership of about twenty people.
From February 1984 to April 1986, membership grew to about one hundred and eighty adults in regular attendance. Early meetings were held in classrooms, a private residence, a public hall, a science laboratory, a mechanical workshop, and a cinema theatre.
In May 1986, the church settled in a rented scout hall — the Baden Powell Memorial Hall — which became its home for the next ten years.
During this ten-year period, membership rose to over 4,000. This period also saw aggressive missionary church-planting activity, with local assemblies established in almost all the major towns and cities of Ghana.
ICGC has grown to over 400 churches in Ghana, over 20 in North America, and about 6 in Europe, coordinated by the Head Office in Accra.
Vision
Our vision is to establish the house of God through the development of Model New Testament Christians and churches. We are committed to training and equipping God's people who come to our church, so they develop and grow into maturity in Christ and manifest His character.
Mission
Raising Leaders, Shaping Vision, Influencing Society through Christ. We are committed to a mission to raise individuals who provide examples for society to emulate, help society refine their overall perception for life, and influence society with Godly principles as agents of transformation.
Developing Every Gift
The ICGC provides the opportunity, facilities and tools for the release, development and sharpening of the gifts, talents, skills and abilities of members.

What ItRepresents

The logo consists of the globe, highlighting the African continent, held by four pillars and an oval ring around it.
The Globe represents the world and our focus to reach out internationally.
The Four Pillars represent the main focus and devotion the early church was committed to: Doctrine, Prayer, Fellowship, and the Breaking of Bread.
The Oval Ring holds the pillars together, symbolising the unity of the church across the world.
